30 Random Facts About Me

I've seen loads of Bloggers and YouTubers doing these '[Insert Number Here] Random Facts About Me' posts at the moment so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and see what little pieces of info I can dredge up!

1) I have been a Vegetarian my entire life - No I do not eat fish.
2) When I was 3 I stood in a wasps nest and had over 200 stings all over my body.
3) I trained as a hairdresser for over a year.
4) Me and Andrew first got together when we were 14 (9 years ago argh!) but we broke up in the playground after a whirlwind month long romance.
5) I hated my University.
6) I am useless with phones, I dropped my Iphone down the toilet just the other week.
7) I am an only child.
8) Even though I have moved out I speak to my mum atleast twice a day, every day.
9) One of my eyes is green and the other is half green, half brown.
10) I love cheese more than anyone in the world - Seriously.
11) I used to be (still am) so in love with Dougie Poynter from Mcfly that I hyperventilated.
12) My guilty crushes are Simon Cowell, Gordon Ramsey, Alan Sugar...
13) I don't have a sweet tooth.
14) I live off Carbs.
15) I have watched every episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer atleast 100 times.
16) I don't like surprises.
17) I am terrible with money.
18) I have Asthma, Eczema and Hayfever.
19) I have never been a Becky, always a Becca.
20) I am shy around people I don't know.
21) I never leave the house without makeup on, sad but true.
22) I hate being away from home, travelling has never appealed to me.
23) I hate public displays of affection, VOM.
24) I wiggle my toes 24/7, even in my sleep.
25) I have 3 tattoos. 
26) I didn't get my ears pierced until I was 21 and they have already closed up.
27) I've had my children's names picked out since I was 16.
28) I have wanted to start YouTube for years but hate the sound of my own voice.
29) I hate onion more than anything else.
30) I only get dressed if I'm leaving the house, I live in my pjs at home and wish it was acceptable to go to work in them.

The Holiday Tag!

Ok Im sorry but I cannot resist ANOTHER christmas related blog post! I literally cannot think about anything else at this time of year, I am filled with the joys of the festive season. I saw Fleur from Fleur De Force recently do 'The Holiday Tag' on her YouTube channel and I just knew I had to give it a go too, minus the talking to a camera obviously!

1) What's your favourite holiday nail polish? 

I actually purchased this only today but already I can tell Barry M's 'Red Glitter' (LOVE the original name) is going to be a firm favourite of mine this Christmas! It is completely opaque glitter in just 2 coats and will be perfect for when I go out to my work Christmas party next saturday.

2) What is your favourite holiday movie?

I find this question pretty much impossible to answer with just one film so I am going to have to say it's a toss up between Home Alone, Love Actually and The Holiday; All of which I have already watched this year!

3) Share your favourite winter accessory.

I love fur collars this winter, just as I did last year as I think they add a bit of glamour to any outfit. I'll throw one over my coat for a smarter look or just over a cardigan for a bit of extra warmth and texture! I have 2; both bought from H&M recently!

4) Describe or show your favourite tree ornament. 

As most of you know, this is myself and Andrew's first Christmas in our house so we have had to buy all our tree decorations from scratch. We have bought loads of little individual ones I absolutely love but by far my most favourite are the beautiful personalised ones we ordered off Ebay. They add such a personal touch to the tree and we can bring them out year after year.

5) If you could have one wish come true this year, what would it be?

My one wish this year is that I can worry about money a little less; I know money isn't everything but it would be so nice to be able to have a little extra money left over at the end of the month to save for something special.

6) If you could kiss one celeb under the mistletoe who would it be?

Okay, this is literally IMPOSSIBLE for me to pick just one as I am a total psycho pervert so I am simply going to have to share with you all my celeb top 5. Brace yourselves...

1- Francis Boulle - He can take me for a ride on his skateboard any day.

2- James Arthur - His voice is like sugar.

3- Dougie Poynter - Probably the most beautiful human being to ever walk the planet.

4- Michael Cera - Supergood not Superbad.

7) What's your new year's resolution?

It's the obvious one and everyone says it but I really want to lose some weight; I wish I was one of those people who just ate food to survive, alas I love food. I also want to have a bit more of a life, I don't really go out or do anything, mainly because of my lack of money, but it would be nice to get out and do more.

8) What keeps you going during the "holi-daze"?

Work, work, work. I am very lucky to be in a job I really enjoy and work with such a lovely group of people; I think it's rare to find a job where you like every person you work with and actually enjoy being at work. As you all know I work at Office Shoes and I really enjoy meeting the customers and obviously, buying shoes! It is our Christmas party next saturday, and after last year's occurances I can only begin to imagine what will happen this time! (Hi Lauren if you are reading this; BLOG STALKER.)

9) How do you celebrate the holidays with your family?

We all go to my Aunty's on Christmas day and I am sooooo excited this year as it is baby Lily's first ever Christmas! I cannot wait to give her all her pressies and have some Christmas cuddles!

10) Favourite holiday song?

All I Want For Christmas Is You. Obviously.

12) What's your favourite winter candle scent?

My new favourite winter candle is 'Apple Cinnamon Wreath' by Yankee Candle. Some of them smell so sickly but this one is so yummy!

13) What's your favourite holiday candy?

It isn't really specifically a Christmas chocolate but I am completely addicted to M&S Creme Brulee white chocolate. It tastes like a posh Caramac if any of you remember those? So good!

14) What's your elf name? (Favourite nail polish + first pets name)

What's In My Bag?

I am SUCH a crazy stalker and love these posts, who doesn't like to know what rubbish people drag around with them on a daily basis?! I am a total hoarder and don't even throw away sweet wrappers so when I show you the photo of 'What's in my bag' you can envision it littered with various different food related packagings if you like, I just thought I'd spare you the eye sore.

1. The purse I am currently using is this little studded number from Primark, it was only £4 and has a separate zip section for coins which is a must for me. As some of you may have seen if you follow me on Twitter, my purse got stolen a couple of weeks ago and I was devoed as it was the Chloe purse Andrew got me for my 22nd birthday earlier this year.

2. An umbrella is an obvious essential if you live in the UK, I've been thinking about buying a decent one for a while but never get round to it, this plain black one was from Poundland!

3. I always carry this little makeup bag I got free with a No7 purchase not that long ago for on the go touch ups. I carry my Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in 'Medium', my Real Techniques Buffing Brush, a Mac Kohl Liner in 'Smoulder', a bronzer and whatever lipstick I'm wearing that day.

4. My keys. I always forget my keys; I left them at my mum's the other day and Andrew went out and locked me in the house, he wasn't impressed. On them I have a floral key ring that my mum got me from Cath Kidston last Christmas and a cute little willy I got in Spain last year. (Did I really just say 'cute little willy' on my blog?)

5. Chewing gum & Deoderant - So I don't stink obvs.

6. I always have my glasses in my bag but hardly ever wear them. I got them last year and decided to splash out on a more expensive pair as I thought I'd wear them all the time, turns out I don't oops. If you were wondering the model number is CH3213 and you can get them from www.eyewearbrands.com although I got mine directly from the opticians.

7. I tend to carry 2 phones, one for my bro's and one for my hoe's. Nah just joking, my IPhone broke but it can still connect to Wifi so I use it for WhatsAppin' and I use this amazing Nokia for texting/calling. Gutted it doesn't have Snake though.

8. My Kindle goes everywhere with me; I read it in bed, on the bus, on the toilet (No but really), in the canteen at work, EVERYWHERE. I've nearly finished my current book so let me know what I should read next, nothing too scary though or my imagination works overtime!

9. I always, always, always keep my work tag in my bag. The second my shift is over it goes straight in there or I know I'll forget it. As you've probably all worked out from my OOTD posts, I work at Office!

10. Lipbalms. As you all know I have an obsession with lipsticks so I always have at least a couple of lip balms floating around in case I need a bit of extra moisture. Korres Lip Butters are my absolute fav, especially the Pomegranate one.

So that's what I carry round with me on a daily basis, minus all the rubbish. I'm not a big bag person so I tend to use a bag until it falls apart, and then I'll finally buy a new one; Hense why this Zara bag has appeared in pretty much every blog post I've ever written.

What's My Face Worth?

I've seen this tag spreading round the blogging world like wild fire this past few weeks (I think namelydown to the lovely Louise at Sprinkle of Glitter) and I thought I'd jump on the band wagon and see how much money I'm chucking at my face on a daily basis. This is how I wore my make-up when I went out for a meal and drinks with friends last night and is fairly typical of how I do my make-up on a normal day, minus the ridiculous eyelashes and bright red lipstick obvs.
